Sheep Parasite Control Planner Online Training Tool Instructions

The purpose of this training tool is to demonstrate how a Sheep Parasite Control Planner tailored to a flock can be completed between vet and farmer.

How to use the planner….

• In the centre of the screen is a circular calendar which is to be annotated by management, testing and treatment action labels.
• On the right hand side of the screen there is a list of categories.
• Within each category are several options for the action labels to be used on the central circular calendar.
• Starting with Management open the list and select a management label (e.g Start Lambing).
• Click on the label to select it then hover the cursor over the date on the calendar that you wish to place the label. Ensure the cursor hovers over the outer line of the circle – that line will appear highlighted green when you have correctly positioned the cursor.
• Once the outer line of the circle is highlighted green click on it and the selected label will appear on the calendar.
• Return to the list of categories and continue to add as many action labels from within as many categories in the list as you wish.
• The outcome will be a sheep parasite control plan for the year specific to a flock.

N.B. The completed calendar cannot be saved as this is a training tool for demonstration purposes only.
